With the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii existing in the console scene for a while, all three are rumored to have its fresher and bigger versions with Nintendo Wii 2 ushering the coming of other console productions on mid 2011. Xbox 720 from Microsoft has already hired workers to initiate the project, and development of the Playstation 4 is no longer a buzz as confirmed by Sony’s Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, Masaru Kato.
Though there are no confirmed reports on when the PS4 will exactly come out in the open, the production trend of Sony Playstation consoles show a pattern of a six-year increment since the release of the first Playstation way back in 1994. PS2 was launched at the new millennium, and PS3 was circulated in 2006, and so on. Understanding this archetype, PS4 may come out in 2012. The latest existing console, Playstation 3 is created to last for 10 years, enough to give some leeway for the Playstation 4 release.
